About Savannah
It all began eighteen years ago on January 17th in Johnson, AR. Charles and Darleen Lanham welcomed a beaming baby girl into the world at Willow Creek Women's Hospital. They named her Savannah, and brought her home to meet her three siblings: the oldest named Cory, a sister named Amber, and her soon to be partner is crime Jacob. Savannah spent the first seven years of her life living at 519 electric street in Rogers, AR.

Her and her brother Jacob passed the time by exploring and hanging out on the streets of Historic Downtown Rogers. A couple of their favorite spots were the Jiffy Kwick on the corner, where they enjoyed hot and ready sandwiches from the deli or the Hunt Brothers Pizza from the display case, and Lake Atlanta, where, at one point, it was the community swimming pools, but, at another point in time, it was a couple of small playgrounds and activities with the lake like fishing and paddle boating. This gave Savannah a very easy going and fun loving personality. But then life took a turn for the worst. Savannah's mother, Darleen, had developed a habit of drinking. The alcohol was a leach on the family's finances causing them to get evicted from 519 Electric Street. This is when Savannah had to learn adaptability and could only find safety and security within herself. Savannah's two oldest siblings, Cory and Amber were of age to be able to go off on their own and support themselves. Jacob and Savannah were still under parental authority which was Charles sending money to Darleen, Darleen still putting money down the drain but also providing her two children she was still responsible for with shelter by bouncing from hotel to hotel. After a year of multiple unstable living environments, the parents decided to move Jacob and Savannah to Jacksonville, NC. This was Darleen's hometown and where her and Charles had first met. There Savannah attended Clyde Erwin Elementary School where she shined so bright they placed her into their Reach Program. After a year in North Carolina, the parents moved Jacob and Savannah back to Rogers, AR where the hopping from hotel to hotel continued for another 6 months. During those 6 months, Savannah attended Tillery Elementary where she continued to dedicate herself to growth by joining the Quiz Bowl Team. Finally, Darleen, Jacob and Savannah got a house at 604 East Bonnie Lane. Then, Jacob moved out on his own leaving Savannah under the supervision of Darleen who was still fostering alcoholism. Savannah went onto middle school attending Kirksey Middle School where she participated in Quiz Bowl and Band for 6th and 7th grade and then Volleyball and an advanced Symphonic Band for 8th grade. Her time spent in band demonstrated her strive for excellence shown by her holding first chair clarinet almost for the entirety of those three years. She carried the love for volleyball into high school and was on the Rogers High School Volleyball Team for three years. In Savannah's first year of high school, her mom, Darleen, subcommand to the alcoholism passing away from Liver Failure. Savannah's dad, Charles, then moved into the house and took on the day to day care of Savannah. Savannah was able to continue thriving by joining the French Club, Friends of Rogers Club and Rogers High School Wrestling Team all on top of Volleyball. Savannah had also got accepted into the Associates Program offered at Rogers High School sponsored by Northwest Arkansas Community College. She was able to take college courses that went towards an Associates degree in Science while still being a high school student. Unfortunately, in her third year of high school, Charles, Savannah's Dad, was diagnosed with Laryngeal Cancer caused by 40 years of smoking cigarettes. The diagnosis was only made due to Charles having to have life saving surgery where an artificial airway was placed keeping him stable. This drastic change in Savannah's homelife caused Savannah to drop out of high school and get her GED/High School Diploma a year and a half earlier than she was originally supposed to graduate. If Savannah's childhood taught her anything, it is that life is what you make it and that's why she continues striving for excellence every step of the way by diving head and heart first into the workforce.
